Uitnodiging: Kortste Nacht Tocht – zaterdag 22 juni 2024

Heb je zin in een bijzondere roei ervaring?

Op zaterdag 22 juni 2024 organiseren de Samenwerkende Amsterdamse Roeiverenigingen (De Amstel, Amstelgeuzen, De Hoop, Poseidon, RIC en Willem 3), de jaarlijkse Kortste Nacht Tocht.

Programma:
19.00 uur: Je boot ophalen bij W3 en vertrek naar RIC
19.30 uur: Verzamelen bij RIC, ontvangst en briefing
20.00 uur: Vertrek richting Ouderkerk
Halverwege: Picknick (koffie/thee met iets lekkers) bij de Waver
Na afloop: Soep en gezellig napraten bij RIC

Route:
Je roeit een avond- en nachttocht van 30km rondom de Ronde Hoep-polder. Even na 22.00 uur de zon onder zien gaan vanuit je bootje op de Waver. Halverwege de tocht een picknick. In het donker over de Amstel langs Nes en Ouderkerk. Het wordt een bijzondere ervaring.
Na afloop gezamenlijk soep en napraten. Je bent tot in de kleine uurtjes onderweg.

Aanmelden, uiterlijk 19 juni:
Schrijf jezelf of je ploeg in via toercommissie@willem3.nl onder vermelding van ‘Kortste Nacht 2024’. Plus (a) je naam (jullie namen), (b) mobiele telefoonnummer(s), (c) je/jullie e-mailadressen, (d) je/jullie afroei klasse(n), (e) eventueel je voorkeur voor een wherry of Cx+-boot.
(f) Geef ajb aan of je na afloop mee wilt doen met de soep bij RIC ja/nee.
Na aanmelding ontvang je een bevestigingsmail.

Kosten:
Meedoen kost € 10,00 per persoon, inclusief picknick onderweg en soep na afloop.
Zou je het bedrag ajb willen overmaken op rekening NL75 RABO 0106 6517 57 t.n.v. R.V. Willem 3 ovv je naam of de naam van je ploeg als je voor de hele ploeg betaalt? En onder vermelding van Kortste Nacht 2024.

Informatie:
Geschikt voor roeiers met een redelijk goede conditie en minimaal klasse 1 (bij voorkeur klasse 2+).
Je moet in staat zijn om in- en uit de boot te stappen bij lastige oevers.
Er zijn lage en/of smalle bruggen te verwachten op deze route, je moet kunnen slippen en doorvallen.

Invitation: Shortest Night Tour – Saturday June 22, 2024

Are you looking forward to a special rowing experience?

On Saturday, June 22, 2024, the Collaborating Amsterdam Rowing Clubs (De Amstel, Amstelgeuzen, De Hoop, Poseidon, RIC and Willem 3) will organize the annual Shortest Night Tour.

Program:
7:00 PM: Pick up your boat at W3 and depart for RIC
7:30 PM: Gathering at RIC, reception and briefing
8:00 PM: Departure towards Ouderkerk
Halfway: Picnic (coffee/tea with something tasty) at the Waver
Afterwards: Soup and a nice chat at RIC

Route:
You row an evening and night trip of 30 km around the Ronde Hoep polder. Watch the sun set from your boat on the Waver just after 10 p.m. A picnic halfway through the tour. In the dark on the Amstel past Nes and Ouderkerk. It will be a special experience.
Afterwards, have soup together and chat. You’re on the road until the wee hours.

Register no later than June 19:
Register yourself or your team via toercommissie@willem3.nl, stating ‘Shortest Night 2024’. Plus (a) your name(s), (b) mobile telephone number(s), (c) your/your email addresses, (d) your/your rowing class(es), (e) possibly your preference for a wherry or Cx+ boot.
(f) Please indicate whether you would like to join the soup at RIC afterwards yes/no.
After registration you will receive a confirmation email.

Cost:
Participation costs €10.00 per person, including a picnic along the way and soup afterwards.
Would you please transfer the amount to account NL75 RABO 0106 6517 57 in the name of: R.V. Willem 3 stating your name or the name of your team if you pay for the entire team? And mentioning Shortest Night 2024.

Information:
Suitable for rowers with a reasonably good condition and at least class 1 (preferably class 2+).
You must be able to get in and out of the boat on difficult banks.
Low and/or narrow bridges are expected on this route, you must be able to slip and fall through.
